June 1st - Montage Film Editor's Group Meeting

On June 1st, Montage editor’s group had our monthly meeting at Nicole Baer’s house. They had 11 attendees, and they shared their usual lunch prepared by Mark and Nicole, during which there was always a lot of great conversation.

Then, all moved into the living room and had a ‘sharpening our professional skills’ session of looking at videos and discussing how classic film scenes were put together from an editor’s point of view.

Then each shared what’s been going on in our lives in the past month, spiritually, personally, and professionally. We ended with prayer requests and an open prayer time.

This is an excellent gathering for Christian Film Editors who want to build community and fight the isolation often associated with the Editor's vocation!
