National Day of Prayer T.A.C.O.S. Celebration

On Thursday, May 1st, HPN hosted a National Day of Prayer Celebration to pray for RENEWAL, RESTORATION AND REVIVAL in Hollywood!

Over 250 people gathered in the heart of Hollywood to cry out in unified prayer for our city, our industry, and our community.

We kicked off the evening with a family-friendly Taco Truck Block Party — tacos, nachos, beverages, and desserts, free for all attendees!

Then, we moved into a creative prayer experience built around the acronym T.A.C.O.S.:
• T – Thanksgiving
• A – Adoration
• C – Confession
• O – Prayer for Others
• S – Supplication (Prayer for Self)

We are so grateful for everyone who attended! From the joyful sounds of laughter and music at the Taco Truck Block Party to the reverent atmosphere at the creative prayer stations, we experienced an evening of true connection, passionate worship, and Spirit-led intercession.

First and foremost, we give all glory and thanks to God for His presence, His power, and His people. The unity, creativity, and hunger for revival were undeniable. It was a beautiful glimpse of the Body of Christ coming alive in the very place where culture is made — and being revitalized in prayer.

We are deeply grateful to our incredible hosts and partners at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. Thank you for opening your doors, your hearts, and your grounds so our community could gather. Your partnership is a powerful expression of the Church on a mission in the center of our city, and we thank you for helping us build the Kingdom here in Hollywood!

To our amazing Prayer Leaders that led us from the stage with our Prayer Topics, and our volunteers, worship leaders, HPN team — you are the backbone of every event, and this event especially. You are on the front lines of ministry, and your faithfulness, creativity, and servant hearts made the evening not only possible, but powerful. We couldn’t have done this without you!

And of course, a huge thanks to our food partners — the Taco Guy Catering and Churros n Cream — for blessing our gathering with delicious tacos and treats. You helped set the tone for a joyful and welcoming night of community and celebration.
