Service of Song - 2025 Gatherings

In November, Service of Song came together for an evening dedicated to building one another up in our holy callings to lead others into the intimate fellowship of the Holy Spirit through praise and worship. This interdenominational gathering welcomed worship team members and anyone seeking to grow in worship leadership.

The night began with warm fellowship over pie and cider, setting the tone for meaningful connection. The group then engaged in a thoughtful conversation centered on the theme, “Where Worship Begins,” exploring the heart behind true worship.

As always, the evening concluded with un-rushed, heartfelt prayer—creating space for the Spirit to move and for attendees to be refreshed and encouraged.

We’re grateful to all who came and contributed, and to those who helped with set up, tear down, and treats!

In August, nineteen worship ministers and creatives came together for our Service of Song: Summer Worship Ministers Gathering—a beautiful evening of connection, encouragement, and worship.

As always, our heart for Service of Song is to build one another up in our holy callings—to lead people into the intimate fellowship of the Holy Spirit through praise and worship. This gathering created space for genuine fellowship, spiritual refreshment, and unity among those serving in worship across different churches and ministries.

The night began with snacks and conversation, followed by an inspiring group discussion and an unhurried time of prayer and spontaneous worship. Several attendees brought instruments, filling the Middle Terrace at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood with joyful, Spirit-led music and heartfelt praise.

It was a rich and refreshing evening—one that reminded us of the beauty of community among those who share the same heart for worship.

On March 21, 2025, we welcomed those who minister in music to a quarterly Service of Song gathering!

This event brought together worship leaders and musicians across the greater LA area, to encourage and build one another up in their holy callings to lead people into intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit through praise and worship.

The gathering began with a time of snacks and fellowship, providing a warm space for connection. This was followed by focused prayer, united in seeking God’s will for our community and the powerful ministry of music in worship, inspired by 1 Chronicles 6:31.
