November
On November 15th, HPN’s Music Community gathered for Measure for Measure, engaging in a timely and thought-provoking conversation titled “The Good, The Bad, The AI: Fear Not, for I Am (Not AI) With You.”
Led by Andres Soto and Raphael Costa, the discussion explored how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the music industry—from creation to distribution—and the challenges and opportunities this presents for Christian musicians, producers, and composers.
Attendees wrestled with questions about the meaning of creativity in an age where machines can mimic art, and how to remain rooted in our God-given identity as creators made in His image. The conversation was honest, hopeful, and Spirit-led—affirming that despite technological changes, God continues to call artists to shape culture with integrity, imagination, and authentic creativity.
The event closed with prayer and encouragement, reminding everyone that our Creator’s call remains clear and strong in every season.

August
Our Measure for Measure community met on Saturday, August 30th, for an evening of food, fellowship, and creative reflection. We started the night with dinner — a great chance to catch up, share what we’ve been working on, and enjoy some conversation before the movie.
After dinner, we screened Bono: Stories of Surrender, a 90-minute documentary exploring Bono’s life, faith, and music. The film gave us a lot to think about — from the ways he integrates belief and creativity to the challenges and rewards of staying authentic as an artist.
After the screening, we had a meaningful discussion about the connection between faith and art, and how Bono’s story mirrors many of our own experiences as musicians navigating both worlds.
It was a thoughtful, inspiring evening, and a great reminder of why we gather — to learn from each other, to share openly, and to keep growing in our craft and calling. We look forward to our next meeting in November!

May
On May 10, 2025 we hosted our quarterly Measure for Measure gathering—an inspiring afternoon designed for songwriters, producers, composers, and musicians who seek to serve the Lord with their musical gifts.
Over a shared lunch, attendees connected with fellow music professionals and enjoyed a live ensemble performance of the “Spring” movement from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. After the music, we heard from the players about their experiences living and working as musicians in Los Angeles.
It was a refreshing and uplifting time of community, creativity, and conversation.
